Release Notes

This release includes the AcheivementToast component that pops up an Xbox 360 style acheivement toast. There is no change to your gamer score or anything, but it sure looks neat. XNA Games won't be getting gamer score things, so if you keep track of a players acheivements in your game you could use this to alert them in a familiar way. The graphics are pretty generic (no trophy icon - instead I use the XNA logo) so you could use this toast for non-acheivement messages of any type you could imagine.

To include in your project simply reference the appropriate DLL and copy the Content folder to your output path and intialize from source code. The demo games attached do this as an example. If you want the source code for the entire component please browse over to the source code tab and pull down build 7204.

Very important note - I include three things in here that I don't own:
- The Xbox 360 Acheivement sound - From Major Nelson
- The Xbox 360 Logo
- The XNA Logo

Unless you remove the above items (source artwork is attached here if you'd like to) the entire component is considered 'for non-commercial use only'. If you remove/replace the above mentioned material feel free to use the source code and other artwork in any way you feel. Let me know if you like it, please! If you replace the artwork or find/fix bugs please let me know via the message board or 'Submit a patch' link on the source code tab.

Thanks, enjoy!
